The IIT JEE Advanced 2022 Result has been declared and the candidates can check their results on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The result is available in the form of a merit list and the candidates can check their All India Rank (AIR), category-wise AIR and other details in the merit list. The candidates who have qualified in the JEE Advanced exam will be eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) counselling process.
Speaking about the IIT JEE Advanced results, JOSAA founding member, Prof. Kavita Aggarwal said that every institute has its own identity and you can’t compare any two IITs. She also said that the IITs are constantly striving to improve their infrastructure and facilities and the students should make the most of the opportunities available at these institutes.
The JEE Advanced exam is the second stage of the IIT JEE exam and is considered to be one of the toughest engineering entrance exams in the world. A total of 2,24,455 candidates had registered for the JEE Advanced exam this year and only 11,100 candidates have qualified in the exam. The qualifying candidates will now have to participate in the JOSAA counselling process to get admission into one of the 23 IITs across the country.
The IIT JEE Advanced 2022 Result has been declared and the students can check their results on the official website. The results of the IIT JEE Advanced exam are used for admissions to various engineering courses in different Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The JEE Advanced is a national level entrance examination conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). This year, a total of 1,61,319 candidates had appeared for the JEE Advanced examination out of which 9,830 have qualified.
The qualifying students will now need to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling process in order to get admission into IITs, NITs, and IIITs. The JoSAA counselling is scheduled to start from June 15, 2021.
During the counselling process, the students will be allotted seats in various IITs based on their All India Rank (AIR) in the JEE Advanced exam. It must be noted that the students will only be considered for admission into IITs if they have qualified the JEE Advanced examination.
Students must keep in mind that each IIT has its own identity and reputation. So, it is not possible to compare two IITs. Every IIT has something unique to offer to its students. Therefore, the students must choose the IIT that they think is best for them based on their preferences and requirements.
